WhatsApp's link format is wa.me/ plus your number in international format with no plus, spaces or leading zero; anyone who taps it opens a chat with you, with your message ready to send. Printing it on cards and signs
Download the PNG, put it on a light background with clear space around it, and print it at least 2 cm across for cards and 5 cm for signs. Add a line like "Scan to chat on WhatsApp" and scan the proof with two phones before printing. The link itself works on your website, Instagram bio and email signature.

What format does an Indian number need for a WhatsApp link?
91 followed by the 10-digit mobile number with no plus, spaces or leading 0: 098765 43210 becomes wa.me/919876543210. Type just the 10 digits here; the tool adds the 91 and drops a leading 0. Do not type +91 as well, or the code is doubled and the link fails.
Should I use WhatsApp Business in India?
For a shop, clinic or service business, usually yes. The free WhatsApp Business app shows a business profile with your address, hours and website, lets you list products in a catalogue, and sends automatic greeting and away messages, and customers in India are used to messaging businesses this way. The link format is identical for personal and Business numbers. The Business app needs its own number, so many owners keep a second SIM for it.
What is a wa.me link?
It is WhatsApp's official click-to-chat link. It looks like wa.me/14375550123 and opens a chat with that number in the WhatsApp app, or in WhatsApp Web on a computer.
Does the customer need to save my number first?
No. Tapping the link or scanning the code opens the chat directly. Your business name and profile photo appear once you reply.
Can I use this with WhatsApp Business?
Yes. The link format is the same for WhatsApp Business and regular WhatsApp. If you use WhatsApp Business, you can also set a greeting message that sends automatically when a new customer writes.
How do I add the link to Instagram or my Google Business Profile?
Copy the link, then paste it into the website field of your Instagram bio or as a button link in your Google Business Profile. On your own website, use it as the address of a "Chat on WhatsApp" button.
Does the QR code expire?
No. The code only contains the link, so it keeps working for as long as that number is on WhatsApp. If you change your number, generate and print a new code.
