The order board we built for West Trade Printer

The real portal, recorded on demo data. AI reads each email, flags how confident it is, and quotes the line it came from.

What it does

  • Reads your inbound customer email automatically
  • Extracts customer, title, due date, price and specs with AI
  • Shows a confidence score and the quoted evidence on every field
  • Never assigns a customer on its own: matching stays exact and human-confirmed
  • Recovers artwork buried inside forwarded attachments
  • Gives you a clean orders and jobs board your team actually uses

Built for

  • Commercial print shops and job shops
  • Anyone retyping emails into a system every morning
  • Teams that want AI to draft and a human to decide
  • Owners who want to see the shop floor from the inbox
  • Businesses that need it to run on their own terms, on your server or ours

In daily use at West Trade Printer

A commercial print shop in Ontario was running sales orders out of email and spreadsheets. We built them a production portal: customer enquiries arrive in the shop inbox and come out the other side as sales orders and jobs, with the customer, contact and artwork already attached.

AI does the reading. Each message is parsed for what's actually being asked for (a usable job title, the due date, the quantities), and every field arrives with a confidence flag and the line of the email it came from. The front desk accepts what's obviously right and corrects the rest, instead of retyping enquiries all morning.

“Orders used to get lost in my inbox or retyped by hand. Now every email turns into a job on the board with the details already filled in. We save hours every week.”
Sunny, owner, West Trade Printer

Common questions

Which email does it read?

Gmail or any IMAP mailbox, including a dedicated orders@ address or a forwarding rule from your existing inbox.

What happens when the AI is unsure?

It says so. Low-confidence fields are flagged with the source line beside them, and nothing is assigned silently: a person confirms.

Can it match our workflow?

Yes. Fields, job statuses, roles and pricing visibility are configured to how your shop already runs.

Where does it run?

On a server we host and maintain for you on a care plan, or on your own infrastructure.

See it on your own inbox.

A short demo on your real emails tells you more than any brochure.
